Silhouette was started by Vearnie Johnston. Vearnie wanted nothing more than to sing for an audience and put this dream together. She was Auditioning guitar players when she met Scott Gray. When the two got together to make music they found that what Vearnie had been learning back up on and wanting to sing was exactly what Scott had also been doing. This musical adventure quickly became more of a love affair of two singers that loved creating beautiful Harmony together. Vearnie’s influences on vocals range from Patsy Cline to Anne Wilson of Heart. Scott’s vocal and guitars influences range from Van Halen, to George Strait. These two love duets and harmony. This has allowed for a wide variety of music. Vearnie and Scott being from Southeastern Kentucky there roots run deep for the love of country music. These two are exceptional singers on their own but when they come together on harmony is when the musical magic really happens. The wide verity of music between the two give their audience a great selection of duets, dance music, rock and country, and bar tunes to top 40 country.. This group is a crowd-pleaser and your ears will thank you for listening.
