Hailing from various parts of the infamous “Bloody Harlan” in Harlan County Kentucky, Kudzu Killers started as a small bluegrass band in 2005, but quickly found themselves leaning more towards their southern rock roots. Kudzu Killers have changed members along the way but have been anchored by founding members Adam Brock (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, harmonica) and his father, Rick Brock (back-up vocals, electric mandolin). Soon after, Greg Hollins (drummer) was added to the mix and brought a completely new dimension to the group. Fast forwarding to the present, the newest members of Kudzu Killers include Tyler Smith (lead guitar, supporting vocals), Paul Nolan (bass, drums, guitar, supporting vocals), and Shyla Blevins. The group recently recorded a cover song album at Gem City Studios in Jellico Tennessee with Matt McQueen. The band has won crowds over at every venue which eventually won them an opening slot for county music star Lorrie Morgan at the 2017 Poke Sallet Festival. Kudzu Killers have gained a fan base in their hometown of Harlan Kentucky, and are looking to expand by playing on numerous stages and venues in the region. The Kudzu Killers play with a passion and energy that in contagious and appealing to any and all fan bases. Covering music form the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, makes it a show that you do not want to miss. This ain’t no lawn chair listening band. This is KUDZU KILLERS!
