Join us on Friday, September 22nd, at 5:30pm for the annual Chick-A-Lympics!
This event takes place in the field beside the rescue squad. For children ages 4-7. Children will compete for prizes in a variety of fun events! Registration will begin at 5:30pm and games will begin at 6pm. Come early because Chick-A-Lympics is limited to the first 40 contestants. The contest will begin at 6:00pm

Hot Wing Eating Contest
SAM 103.9 / 96.7 KOOL Gold, and Old Town Grill Presents...
The Sam 103.9, 96.7 Kool Gold Hot Wing Eating Contest will take place on
Saturday, September 23rd at 1:00PM at the SANDERS STAGE.
Pre-Registration is required and will start at 12:00 PM at the Sander’s Stage. Registration is limited to the first 20 contestants ages 18+ so make sure you arrive early.

This year's Karaoke Contest will be held on Thursday September 21st at 8:00 p.m - 11:00 p.m. on the Sanders Stage at the corner of 6th and Broad Streets. Registration will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. at the Sanders Stage.
The Karaoke Contest is for ages 16+ and limited to the first 25 contestants.

World Chicken Festival Pageant
“Where Personality is Equal to Beauty”
The Miss World Chicken Festival Pageant is held at the
LAUREL-LONDON OPTIMIST CLUB COMPLEX
Prizes include: savings bonds, 4′ Trophies, beautiful WCF crowns, jewelry, toys and more!

We are looking for entertainment (singing, dance teams, etc for intermission times).

Survival Egg Drop Contest
Friday September 22nd at 10:00AM at Cumberland Valley National Bank
Registration is from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Area students can test their skills and try to be the successful one at dropping an egg without breaking it! This event takes place on Main Street in front of Cumberland Valley National Bank.
There are three divisions: Elementary, Middle School, and High School.
1. No registrations will be accepted after 9:30 AM
2. No parachutes
3. Drop will be from 50 feet
4. Eggs will be provided by committee and will be placed in your container on site. The committee must be able to remove the egg after the drop.
5. Your entry must be no larger than a 12" x 12" x 12" container.
6. There must be a place on your container for judges to write a number with a marker
7. Contestants must clean up after their drop.
8. Survival Egg Drop total prize money is $1200.00
9. All prize money will be divided equally among ALL finalists.
10. Prize for "Most Original Design" in each division.

World Chicken Festival Pageant
This year's World Chicken Festival will be held on Sunday, September 17 at the London-Laurel Optimist Sports Complex From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Applications can be picked up at the London-Laurel County Tourist Commission next to Cheddar's in London or they can be filled out online here
Mailed applications should be postmarked September 9th and the last chance to sign up in person is Monday, September 11th at the Hampton Inn in London. You can still sign up online at kentuckypageants.co or even the day of at the London-Laurel Optimist Sports Complex
Registration will be from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on September 17th, and the pageants will begin at 2:45 PM.
