This is Heather and Sara Allen.  Heather and Sara are the daughters of Charles and Donna Allen and the granddaughters of Gene and Betty Allen of East Bernstadt, KY and Al and Tine Grijalba of Richmond, KY. Heather is 18 years old and has been singing at the Chicken Festival’s Gospel tent since she was 5.  Sara is 12 years old and has been singing at the Gospel tent since she was 3. If the girls are not singing you will find them dancing at Dance Alley Studio where they dance ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, hip hop and are on the Alley Cat All Star Senior Dance Team where they compete in both state and national competitions.  Heather is also a dance instructor at the studio and co-coaches the Alley Cat All-Star Mini Team.  Sara is also a student teaching assistant at the studio. Heather leads worship in Kid’s Creek every Sunday morning at Hawk Creek Church.
The girls hope you will come hear them sing.

We are a country/southern gospel group. We were formed in the year of 2011, with the intent to spread the gospel through song. Our mission is to do the will of God, to win and influence as many souls as possible to His kingdom and uplift those who need encouraged in the Lord. We believe the Lord is calling daily for someone to step out and work the fields. The bible says in Matthew 9:37-38 that “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest field.” We are just that – a few of those laborers out in His field bringing in a harvest of lost souls. We have a passion to see souls saved and to see people delivered!

That’s what comes to mind when you hear the testimony of award winning Christian Country Singer/songwriter, Epp Mevin Walls of Chapel Valley Music/ Mercy Road Records. Epp and wife Kathleen are co-founders of EMW Music Ministries. They live on a beautiful 138 acre horse farm near the small country town of Liberty KY.

Frontier is a band from London, KY that delights audiences with upbeat melodies and swelling three-part harmonies.  The band includes Ethan Worley-age 22-  (rhythm and lead guitar, vocals, and songwriter), his brother Andrew Worley-age 19- (rhythm and lead guitar, vocals, and songwriter), and their cousin Caleb Caudill-age 16- (bass guitar and vocals).   They recently have joined forces with Dave Grigsby, a seasoned drummer from London, KY, and are performing shows that audiences of all ages are getting excited about

Rebekah Bowman singer/songwriter from London, KY.  Her music is unique with a traditional gospel blues style.

Amber Sizemore is from right here in Laurel County. She is a member of Greater Life Fellowship Church in Corbin where her husband, Jeff, is a minister and her father, Darrel Bryant, is the pastor. Amber is the piano player and song leader at her church and enjoys singing for the Lord and only wants to uplift Jesus and be a blessing to others. Amber teaches Early Head Start in Barbourville and she has two step-daughters and a brand new baby boy. She is very grateful to God for the many blessings in her life.

Donna Isaacs is a local favorite from the Corbin area.  Her performances are lively and energetic.

Felix Brock and Gospel Harmony is a local bluegrass band.  Felix is a singer/songwriter usually accompanied with his wife and several bluegrass pickers. He has recently recorded a new CD at Skaggs studio. He has sung at the World Chicken Festival for several years.

The Hale Family, has been singing at the Chicken Festival for many years and will be returning again this year. The Hale family has been blessed by God. Both of their sons, Seth and Benjamin, sing, write songs, and play multiple instruments. They are both very active in their home church, Shield of Faith in Woodbine, Ky, and the television/radio ministry program, “Young Voices Cry Out“, established by Russell and Lisa Woods, on WVTN/WVCT in Keavy, Ky.

They give all the glory to God for what they are able to do for the Lord. They look forward to singing this year and have some new songs to share with everyone at the Chicken Festival! They are scheduled to sing Saturday, September 26, 2015 @7 PM. You DO NOT want to miss this anointed and talented family.

Lawana Blevins is a Country Gospel Singer/Songwriter from Harlan, Ky. She was voted 2013 Top 5 ICGMA Female Horizon Artist. Her first radio single “It Ain’t Over” was a Top 20 hit on national charts. Nominated as “New Artist Of The Year” in the 2014 AMG Heritage Awards.She was voted 2015 Top 10 Favorite Soloist & Female Horizon in Gospel Music Fanfair. Broken is a group of men from the Irvine/Richmond are of Ky. They are a band on a mission. That Mission. To see the Kingdom expand. The band is made up of many different talents and takes their roots in Rock and Roll and mixes them in a ministry mindset and takes that fusion to the streets. This team is no stranger to the stage. Bob and David were in 70X7, David and Kevin played in WordsinRed and Bob and Tom (No not the Radio Show) have played together. The band is excited about what God has in store and can’t wait to Rock.

She has a passion for the youth and assists her husband Russell who is Youth Pastor at East Bernstadt Church Of God. Her desire is to see the lost saved and those in bondage set free!

Seth and Benjamin Hale has been singing since they were very young. They sing with their father and mother, Gary and Darlene Hale, known as “The Hale Family”. They have made several appearances at the Chicken Festival throughout the years. Seth, 20, and Benjamin, 16, have been blessed of God. They both play multiple instruments, sing and have written many songs. They give ALL the glory to God for what He has given them. They are members of Shield of Faith in Woodbine, KY. They are a part of “Young Voices Cry Out” broadcast on WVTN-television and WVCT-radio the 3rd Saturday of every month. Benjamin plays piano, bass, drums and is the youth praise and worship leader at Shield of Faith. Seth plays lead guitar, piano, drums and sings. Both young men have been called to preach the gospel. They are very excited to share the Lord Jesus Christ through their singing ministry. So be sure to join them this year on Sunday, September 27, 2015@ 1:15-1:45 and be prepared to be blessed!
